It was an exciting afternoon of girls hockey at the Rockville Ice Arena.  MYHA hosted a open house for girls of all ages and abilities to give the sport a try.  Coaches, players, and parents volunteered their time for this event where nearly 70 players attended the free clinic.  Afterwards the girls were treated to a pizza party and had a chance to talk to MYHA coaches and current parents about the pathways for girls hockey.

Equipment was provided through a grant from Leveling the Playing Field, which will enable MYHA to host more events like this in the future.
