The MYHA family is sad to note the passing of Christian Yngve.
Christian was the head of MYHA's Girls program from 2002-2009.
The following remembrance was posted by the Washington Pride Hockey program.
"We are heartbroken to pass along the news that beloved coach, mentor and friend Christian ‘Lillen’ Yngve has passed away. Christian spent many years in the Washington, DC area working with @pridehockeydc, and @montgomerybluedevils, impacting the lives of hundreds of local players and coaches. Christian served as the Head Coach for the Swedish Olympic Team, Head Coach for Spain's Women’s National Team, and led the Hong Kong National program. The hockey world lost a great human. We will miss you Christian, rest in peace big guy. ❤️"
