MYHA hosted a Girls Try Hockey for Free Open House on December 2, 2018 as part of the club's commitment to expanding the girls program, and we are honored to have been featured in this month's issue of USA Hockey Magazine.

Nearly 70 girls from the area participated in the event, and based on registration data available to MYHA at this time, approximately 20% of the participants have registered for hockey learn to skate or instructional programs. As the article suggests, MYHA will be working with the CBHL to share its experience in organizing and hosting the open house with the goal of further developing girls hockey in our area.
