The Blue Devils took the one-goal lead during the first period and managed to hold it for the rest of the game.

12U B White Beat Potomac 3-2
MYHA scored the game's first goal at 10:28 (Aidan Cook #21) in the first period.  Potomac scored 1 goal in the 2nd period, and 1 goal in the 3rd only for MYHA to score a game-tying goal (Henry Horwell #3) at 6:49 in the 3rd period.
Overtime was scoreless - shootout time!
After 4 rounds with 1 goal for each team, and the game on his stick, MYHA (Tommy Pilkington #88), nets the championship-winning goal to put the MYHA 12U B White past the Potomac Patriots.
This caps an undefeated 21-0 season for the Blue Devils!

19U Girls beat Carolina Eagles 4-3
It was a thrilling game with MYHA scoring a goal with 2 minutes left in the third period to take their first lead in the game (3-2).  With 17 seconds remaining, Carolina tied it up during a 5 on 3 power play.  On to overtime, with MYHA playing the first 4:31 minutes on the penalty kill.   With only 12 seconds left in overtime, the Blue Devils scored a goal to win 4-3.

16U AA Blue advanced to the 16U National Division Championship with a thrilling 2-1 victory over the Howard Huskies.  The Blue Devils had to kill off a 90 second 5v3 powerplay with 1:53 left in the third period.  Luke Cashion then scored the short-handed game winner with 2 seconds remaining.  MYHA will play the #1 team in the country, Ashburn Xtreme for the championship at the Ashburn Ice House at 2:30 pm today.

19U Girls advanced to the 19U Divison championship 6-2 over the Tricity Eagles.  They will face the Carolina Eagles at 4:30 pm today at Skate Frederick.

14U AA advanced to the 14U National Division championship 4-3 over the Tricity Eagles.  They will face Ashburn at 3:40 pm today at the Ashburn Ice House.

12U Girls Wales advanced to the 12U Wales Division championship 12-6 over the Baltimore Stars.  They will face Howard at 1:00 pm today at Skate Frederick.

10U AA Blue advanced to the 10U National Division championship 6-3 over the Reston Raiders.  They will have face Howard at 11:10 am today at the Ashburn Ice House.
