Thanks to MYHA’s partnership with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), all MYHA parents will have the opportunity to attend PCA’s highly-recommended training program: Developing Winners in Life Through Sports.

This program is FREE for all MYHA parents and is led by professional PCA facilitators. The session will provide valuable pointers for parents on subjects such as…

- Talking to your child about practices, games, and what they are learning through sports

- Helping your skater bounce back from mistakes and adversity

- Finding the right mix of truthful, specific praise and constructive criticism

…and more.

MYHA strongly encourages parents to attend this interactive session.  We promise it will be well worth your time – and applicable to your experience across all youth sports.  All parents attending the workshop will receive a copy of the book Positive Sports Parenting, written by PCA Founder Jim Thompson.

Parents have the opportunity to attend a session either in person or virtually via Zoom:
